A typical Preschool day looks like….

Most every week we learn a new letter of the alphabet and every day we enjoy an art experience.  Sometimes we have a VIP (very interesting person) share with us.  We enjoy field trips some months and we cook every month.  Of course, we have a snack every day, too!

SNACKS
We take turns bringing snack each week. When the “snack bag” comes home with your child, please fill it with a small healthy snack for the next week and have your child bring it back.  Birthdays are special! If you would like to send in a special treat to share with the children in the class, please let the office or your child’s teacher know in advance.*
*No home made treats, please. State regulations require that treats must be purchased.
SHARING TIME
Each child may bring a small object from home on the last day of their week. It needs to fit inside the school bag. Please: No guns, knives, swords, etc… !
PHYSICAL EXAM
State law requires each child enrolled to have a current health record (annually). It is due BEFORE the first day of school. Your child will not be admitted without an up-to-date health record signed by your child’s doctor. If your child has a fever of 100 degrees, pink eye, skin rash, vomiting or diarrhea, please do not send him/her to school.
If your child develops any of the above symptoms, we will call you immediately and trust you to come get your child within 30 minutes. Children may return when fever-free for 24 hours. Children with pink eye may return after 24 hours on medication.

WEATHER CLOSINGS
We follow MSD Perry Township School closings (in preschool). Please watch your local news channel or call the office, 317.780.4624.

PLAY CLOTHES
Please send your child to school in clothes for learning, play, & weather appropriate. Child’s name should be placed on everything they bring. If it’s above 32 degrees, we enjoy outdoor play. Your child will receive an Imagination Station school bag. Please help them remember to bring it each day. (Please don’t send backpacks.)

 FIELD TRIPS
Parents are wanted, needed & welcome to help in class, during parties & on field trips. Walking field trips and meeting at a specified location for a field trip experience are part of our total preschool curriculum. Tuition fees pay field trip expenses for all Imagination Station children. Others attending must pay any cost involved.
